Known for their “wildcat” look and distinctive ticked tabby coat, the Abyssinian is one of the oldest and most beloved cat breeds. These are not your typical “lap cats”—they are athletes in constant motion. Highly social, intelligent, and famously agile (capable of soaring six feet in the air!), an “Aby” will quickly become a loyal shadow, following you from room to room and even perching on your shoulder to supervise your day.

Our Bebop Abyssinian kittens are born and raised in our home. They receive daily handling from birth, ensuring they are well-socialised and ready to bond with their new families. They thrive in active households and get along wonderfully with other pets.
Health & Ethical Breeding
As a registered breeder adhering to NZCF and Catz Inc regulations, health is my priority. All kittens come from lines free of FIV, FeLV, and T.Foetus. Both parents are DNA-tested clear of inheritable diseases, including:
Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PK Def)
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA)

To ensure an optimum start to life, every kitten arrives at their new home with:
Health: Vet-checked, microchipped, desexed, and treated for fleas/worms.
Protection: First vaccinations completed and a starter insurance package.
Support: Registration papers, care information, and ongoing breeder support.
Kitten Pack: A blanket, toys, and a supply of kitten biscuits.
Securing Your Kitten
A $500 deposit is required to secure a kitten.
Please note: Deposits are refundable if we cannot fulfill your specific request, but are non-refundable should you change your mind.
